Ever since the cancellation of Charmed TV show, I’ve been in quest for the latest news about the star cast of series. Of course, I liked all stars of the show, but Halliwell ladies, Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs), Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Paige (Rose McGowan) are above all. They all were sexy, cool and gorgeous and a big credit of Charmed’s success goes to them. On Charmed, all these ladies did a marvelous job and managed to secure a good fan base.

Today, the news I found to share with you is of Shannen Doherty, the femme-fatale known for her role as Prudence ‘Prue’ Halliwell on Charmed. Shannen Doherty, 38, has put her Malibu 90265 home on sale at $4 million. The gated contemporary is located in 3,410 square feet area. The house was built in 1976 and has 5 bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms in it. It also includes landscaped grounds with ocean views, mature trees, a swimming pool, a spa and an expansive patio. There is also a sunken living room with picture windows and a dramatic fireplace. It was 2004 when Shannen Doherty bought the house for $2.56 million after the huge success of ‘Charmed’ TV show.  In April, 2008, Shannen listed the house for $4.4 million but she dropped the plan soon. Now, once again, this property has been put on sale.

Her performance on Charmed has always been applauded by the critics and fans. The lady is also well known for her role of bad girl Brenda Walsh on Fox Network series Beverly Hills 90210.  She has always done a very good job on all the show she has been a part of.

Charmed tv show always remain in our hearts, no matter whether they’re on air or not. It has been more than two years since Charmed’s cancellation but it’s still alive in the minds of fans. Series ran for eight successive seasons and the season 8 was the most interesting one. It was 22 episodes long. All episodes of season were good but my favorite was the season as well as series finale ‘Forever Charmed’.

In this episode, we saw that Piper and Leo went to get her sisters, Phoebe and Paige, back after the devastating events of the last episode. With help from Coop’s ring, they decided to travel back in time so that they could change the events which resulted in the death of Piper’s sisters and manor’s devastation. Elsewhere, Billie also tried to do the same and came to know the truth. Piper was in need and several familiar faces joined hands to help her find the solution. This awesome episode was written by Brad Kern and was directed by James L. Conway. Recurring appearances were of Brian Krause as Leo Wyatt and Dorian Gregory as SFPD Inspector Darryl Morris.

In addition to this, other interesting and high rated episodes of series are ‘The Jung and the Restless’, ‘Generation Hex’, ‘Engaged and Confused’, and ‘Mr. & Mrs. Witch’ etc. Hey… are there any chances of ‘Charmed’ sequel/spin off/ movie? Well, I don’t have any words to utter as I seriously don’t know anything.

Considering the trend to turn cancelled TV shows into movies and spin-offs, I think there’s a little possibility. Sex and the City, X-Files, CSI, Beverly Hills 90210 and Star Trek are some very popular names which become even more popular after their respective spin-offs and movies etc. It’d not be out of league if ‘Charmed tv show‘ creators also announce to produce a spin off or movie version of the series. If it ever happens, I’d like to have the same names in the star-cast list.

Right now, lots of science fictions, horrors and weird shows are here on television; but as it’s said old are gold, so I think no supernatural show can compete with the Charmed. If we see, many shows are here, which begin from a normal human life and very suddenly, they start taking drastic changes to cope with the hi-fi technologies, things do happen so rapidly that missing a single episode may make you out of the race. So, such kinda series can never have a string fan base, but Charmed is completely different as from its beginning to its end, it dealt with the very same plot and way of presenting things.

Me and my friend Mary are huge fans of supernatural kinda shows, and Charmed was our favorite series when it was on air. As no such kinda series in on air these days so we miss the Charmed a lot. In fact, since a long time, I didn’t find any good show on witches except some comedies like Bewitched. I think, this is the reason why Charmed still has a safe place in our memories, and we still remember it. Me and Mary usually visit here to watch the episodes of Charmed.

Why do we like Charmed? The only one reason is- Special effects being used in the series. Let’s talk about an episode, it is my favorite episode from series- All the three sisters come to know about the Book of Shadows, but still they don’t understand the thing. Jeremy’s character was more interesting, even more than the three witches, who could guess that Piper’s boyfriend will be with her to snatch away her powers which she herself is unaware of. But he knows that she is a good witch. I liked his role more because he has more interesting and fine powers than Witches in that episode. These days, I’m really missing the three gorgeous witches, and such a wonderful show.
